learning disability care home About Us

At Kingsley specialist services we support people with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities and complex support needs such as Autism, Epilepsy, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities including those with behaviours that may challenge.

We manage and run 5 very unique Homes which pride themselves in providing specialist and quality bespoke support for people within a vibrant, modern, friendly, safe and stimulating environment, which support people in broadening their horizons. Our skilled and friendly teams are led by highly experienced Home Managers. They work tirelessly towards helping people achieve a more independent model of living and to realise their goals and aspirations. With this in mind we have an established program to meet the requirements of the National Autistic Society, which focuses on all of the areas needed to improve the quality of support that we provide to people living with autism, such as communication, social understanding, sensory issues, flexibility of thought and transition, which we believe are vital in any support role.

At Kingsley specialist services we passionately believe that all of the people we support, no matter how complex their needs, should not miss out on any opportunities in life. In fact some of the people we support currently include a keen sailor, a footballer, a swimmer, a musician, a volunteer for a dog rescue centre and a very keen farmer and a gardener. We have seen time and again when given the right opportunities people overcome past obstacles and integrate into the local community. Within Kingsley specialist services we aim to help people to achieve anything that they want to do. Also, we regularly commission and work with some of the country’s leading experts in Learning Disability and support for vulnerable people.

We have achieved some outstanding results and our staff would be happy to tell you more about these. This strategy enhances the culture of care; delivers a true and meaningful person-centred and positive risk taking approach; nurtures staff and encourages the adaptation of the internal and external environments of the care services.
